Several government offices and and services will be closed today in order to observe Veteran’s Day, which fell on a Sunday this year.
The Federal Government will be closed today, including the United States Postal Service.
State offices will be closed including, DMV customer service centers.
Local offices for Chesterfield, Hanover and Henrico will be closed today.
Richmond Offices will remain open.
The majority of schools will be open today.
Major localities include Richmond, Chesterfield, Hanover and Henrico public schools.
However, Powhatan County Schools will be closed today for the holiday.
