RICHMOND, Va. - The 2012 Virginia Thanksgiving Festival commemorates the 1619 landing of Captain John Woodlief who sailed from England and made the family home in Virginia on what is now known as Berkeley Plantation. The event will be complete with great food and re-enactments. The Festival is Sunday, November 4 and begins at 12pm at Berkeley Plantation along the James River in Charles City.
