Over the past few days, we've seen countless images of the destruction caused by Superstorm Sandy.
And some of the most incredible pictures come from the coast of New Jersey.
To television viewers who watched The Sopranos or MTV's The Jersey Shore, or heard Bruce Springsteen sing of it, there might be a familiarity to this place, but for millions of Americans, generations of them, it's a deeply personal loss.
