(WTVR) – While gas prices have been on a steady decline, we could see them rise a little in the coming days.
Sandy has shut down several major refineries in Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. If the refineries were to remain closed for a long period of time, prices at the pumps could reach $4 a gallon. But it is unlikely that will happen.
Experts don’t believe prices will go up more than a few cents because the refineries are expected to reopen soon.Demand for fuel has also been low since Sandy has left many drivers stuck at home.
