1 (11oz.) can refrigerated (garlic or regular) breadsticks (8 breadsticks)
1 egg
1 tablespoon water
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (2 oz.)
Marinara sauce or white Mexican white cheese sauce, heated
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
Separate dough into 8 pieces, roll each into 18-inch rope.
Place 4 dough ropes on a cookie sheet, overlapping to look like asterisk. With the remaining 4 dough ropes, make concentric circle to create a spider web
In a small bowl, beat egg and water; brush over dough. Sprinkle with cheese
Bake 14 to 16 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheet
Serve warm with preferred sauces for dipping.
