(KDVR) – In support of “Spirit Day,” Facebook is asking you to go purple.

As part of anti-bullying campaign against LGBT youth, the social media networking site is encouraging users to turn their profile pictures purple this Friday. Twitter, Tumblr, Yahoo and other sites are doing the same.

Head to this website to add a purple hue to any one of your Facebook photos. You can then automatically save it as your profile picture.

If you add the purple hue to your social media account using the aforementioned website, a “Twibbon” will automatically be added to your account. GLAAD, the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, says its hoping to turn these Twibbons into “the new Livestrong band.”

If you are interested in getting involved in Spirit Day, check out all the details at GLAAD’s website.
