RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR)- The annual Domestic Violence Awareness 5k Walk next weekend to help bring attention to domestic violence. Sgt. Carol Adams from Richmond Police along with Domestic Violence Survivor Maricia Harris shared the importance of this walk, which takes place Saturday, October 6th from 9am to 12pm at Byrd Park at Boat Lake. Clothing, cell phones and monetary donations will be accepted on site.
