RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – The left southbound lane and left northbound lane of Mechanicsville Turnpike will be closed as the Wastewater Division of the Department of Public Utilities works on a sewer construction project.
The work and lane closures will occur along the 2000 block of Mechanicsville Turnpike, according to an email from Richmond Department of Public Utilities Marketing and Public Relations Specialist Mariane Jorgenson.
Jorgenson said the work will take place near the end of the eastbound I-64 exit ramp, at the south end of a median at the intersection of Whitcomb and Cool Lane.
She added the project is expected to last three to five days. The work will occur between 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
