PETERSBURG, Va. (WTVR) – If you want to learn how to take better care of yourself and maybe someone you care for too, a new class starting soon at the Appomattox Area Health & Wellness Center could help.

The Lay Health Promoter Program is a free, 12-week set of classes, beginning Tuesday, September 26.

The classes will meet once weekly at 321-C Poplar Drive in Petersburg on Tuesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. All classes will be held at the Appomattox Area Health and Wellness Center in the conference room. Participants are welcome to bring a snack or dinner with them.
