How can the democrats establish momentum with this convention?

Posted

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - CBS 6 Political analyst was in the studio Tuesday to talk about the first day of the Democratic National Convention. He says that the President needs to be on the offensive to establish himself against his republican detractors, who will be attacking his platform during the week. It's also essential for the president to energize those groups that came out in droves to vote for him in the last election. As the incumbent, Holsworth thinks that the convention isn't very important for the President. More emphasis will be placed on the presidential debates, which Mitt Romney is practicing for this week.
