RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Michael Ryan's lawyers have filed an injunction against the Richmond registrar's office to stop printing ballots for the Richmond mayoral race.
The injunction specifically means that ballots for the race will not be printed until the case is resolved. Paul Goldman, Ryan's attorney, says that an appeals process should be used in the case, as past cases establish precedent for a review. We should know more about the outcome of the case on Wednesday, Sept. 5.
