Douglas made it a point to thank all her fans.

"Your support, it means so much," Douglas said. "I would not be able to do it without all the fans and all the supporters. So I just wanted to say thank you. I love them so much."

So what does Gabby plan to do s next?

She said she can't wait to see her dog, spend time with friends and family, head to the beach and do a little shopping.

But, it's going to be a whirlwind trip, she's leaving Friday to head back to Iowa where she trained for the Olympics.

Gabby promised she'd be back to Virginia soon.
