Gordon has become a hurricane (magenta circle on the map) and continues to move away from the United States and across the Atlantic. It should weaken in a few days as it gets closer to Spain & Portugal.
Tropical Storm Helene is located along the Gulf Coast of Mexico (marked with a red circle), and continues to move westward. It will stall & dissipate for the remainder of the weekend, dumping heavy rain.
A strong tropical wave has emerged off the west coast of Africa (marked with a yellow circle). This could strengthen a bit the next few days and bears watching.
