NEW KENT COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – The Mitt Romney campaign bus tour through Virginia stopped at the New Kent County rest area Saturday afternoon. Romney was headed from a campaign rally in Norfolk to one in Ashland, Va.

According to a pool report, Gov. Romney and newly announced vice-presidential candidate Rep. Paul Ryan got off the campaign bus and chatted with Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell.

The pool reported noted bystanders looked on and snapped pictures.

“Is Paul Ryan in there, too?” one man asked. Told that he was, the man replied, “You got the whole show.”

The motorcade left the New Kent rest area at approximately 12:20 p.m., the pool report indicated.
