(WTVR) - Lamb of God lead singer Randy Blythe was released in Prague yesterday on a $400,000 bond. Blythe was detained in the Czech Republic for over a month in connection with the death of a fan he allegedly had a physical confrontation with two years ago.
Blythe posted bail twice last month, but prosecutors challenged it and kept him behind bars until Friday, when judges finally ruled in his favor.
He boarded a flight to New York on Saturday morning.
Before he left, he told the media that he will come back to defend his name if he has to.
"No flight risk," Blythe says. "I'm an international touring artist. I have to clear my name, so yes, I will come back."
He took pictures with fans at the airport in New York and thanked them for their support before heading home to Richmond.
