LONDON (WTVR) - It may be one of the most memorable moments of the 2012 Olympic games. The mayor of London became stuck in mid-air on a zip wire Wednesday.
Mayor Boris Johnson, who was a special guest in Victoria Park as part of the London 2012 Olympic celebrations, donned a hard hat and two Union flags.
However, during his descent, he ground steadily to a halt on the wire about 66 feet from the end. He was left dangling in front of a watching crowd for a few minutes.
