RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Thousands of ducks are slated to be dropped in the James River near Rocketts Landing for the 23rd annual Big Brothers/Big Sisters Duck Race.
This year's new location comes with a new date and time for the biggest fundraiser for the organization.
In addition to the race at Rocketts Landing, it is now held August 11 from 2 - 6pm, ducks dropped at 5pm. still lots of activities, games, entertainment and a 2012 Nissan Versa as the grand prize.
Ducks are 1 for $7, 2 for $12, 5 for $12, a quack pack, includes 1 free duck entry, souvenir rubber duck and 1 ticket to Bow-Tie Cinemas, ducks will be sold up to fifteen minutes before the race.
