Toronto, Canada – Another sewing needle has been found inside a catered sandwich onboard a commercial airplane.
This time, it was on an Air Canada flight from British Columbia to Toronto. The airline says the passenger noticed the needle before biting into the sandwich and that this appears to be an isolated incident.
You may remember, six needles were found inside sandwiches on Delta flights from Amsterdam to the United States last month. The same caterer that supplied those sandwiches also provides food to Air Canada, but not on planes out of the city where Monday’s flight originated.
