WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA) — A 4-year-old boy died after accidentally shooting himself on Wednesday, reports WUSA9.
Police received a call from a family member who said the young boy was suffering from a gunshot wound to the head at the 14800 block of Empire St. in Woodbridge. The call came through around 3:25 in the afternoon.
WUSA reports that police said the incident happened inside of a pickup truck, at that address.
The boy was immediately transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
