(WTVR) — Apple fans are anxious about the iPhone 5, but it could mean hundreds of dollars in accessories will be useless.
According to The Daily Mail, the United States patent office has given Apple a patent for a new dock connector.
Technology and gadget writers believe this could be a new dock for the iPhone 5.
If this is true, it could mean older chargers and speaker docks won’t be able to connect to the phone unless an adapter is developed.
The iPhone 5 launch is rumored to be later this year.
