BROOKLYN, New York (WTVR) – Actress Kristin Chenoweth has been released from the hospital after a mishap on the set of the CBS drama “The Good Wife.”
WPIX-TV reported that a piece of lighting equipment fell and hit Chenoweth on the head a little after 5 p.m. Wednesday.
TMZ reports a strong gust of wind caused the lighting equipment to fall.
The actress was rushed to rushed to Bellevue Hospital’s emergency room with reportedly minor injuries.
A spokeswoman for Chenoweth told Reuters Thursday afternoon that the actress was released from the hospital and was at home recovering.
Chenoweth scored a recurring role as a reporter in the fourth season of “The Good Wife,” which will return to CBS 6 on Sunday, September 30.
