Train derails, catches fire in Ohio

Posted

COLUMBUS, Ohio (CNN) - Bright orange flames lit up the early morning sky in Columbus, Ohio after a train derailment.  Right now, officials are trying to figure out what's burning, but the train is said to be carrying chemicals such as denatured alcohol, which can be used in solvent or fuel.

At least four cars left the tracks.  Some residents say they heard an explosion.

No word on any injuries, but people living within a mile radius of the accident have been evacuated.
