(WTVR) — If your car has new crash avoidance systems, it may save you money on your car insurance.

Researchers at the Highway Loss Data Institute, say that cars with frontal collision warning systems have 14 percent lower liability claims after an accident.

On top of that, headlights that change direction while you steer could save you another ten percent on claims.

Yet, not all new systems are just as helpful. The study found out if your claims on cars rose slightly if they had devices that warned drivers that they were drifting out of their lane.
