STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Officials said a cooling shelter is open because of the extreme heat and power outages in Stafford County.
It’s located at Rodney Thompson Middle School at 75 Walpole Avenue in Stafford.
Make sure to bring personal care items such as sleeping bags, pillows, glasses, prescription medication, water and other items that they use on a daily basis.
