The area where sweating is an issue is numbed, and then a device, called Miradry, is run over the skin.
It removes sections of the skin, and then exposes them to microwaves, destroying sweat glands.
The procedure can cost anywhere from 2 to 3 thousand dollars and insurance does not cover it.
