It's a Special Edition of Friday Cheers on Brown's Island tonight, the Season Finale with Trampled by Turtles performing and a special honor for Ralph White of the James River Park System. Mr. White retires at the end of 2012, when you think of the James River Park System you think of Ralph White. The event is from 6 - 9:30pm and you can honor Ralph by wearing your favorite Ralph White outfit or socks. Tickets $10.
Venture Richmond is also sponsoring RVA Fireworks on the James Tuesday, July 3rd starting with entertainment at 7:30 and Fireworks launch from Bell Isle & The Lee Bridge around 9:30. Brown's Island will open at 6pm for spectators to bring their lawn chairs, blankets and enjoy the celebration, it is a free event.
