RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Charges are pending against a driver who led on a police chase that ended in a crash Saturday morning.
It happened near the intersection of 18th and Venable Streets.
Police say they were trying to stop a driver who didn't turn on his headlights.
As a result, the driver lost control of his car and hit a streetlight that landed on top of the officer's vehicle.
The officer wasn't hurt, but the driver suffered some minor injuries.
