LYCOMING, Pa. (WTVR) Several charges were dropped today against a former Henrico teacher and tennis coach accused of contacting and engaging in a sexual relationship over the internet with a young girl in Pennsylvania.
Ty M. Levy, aged 49, appeared in court today in a non-jury trial in Pennsylvania. He stood accused of convincing the 15-year-old female to disrobe and expose herself to him over the computer.
They communicated over the course of several months, reports said, via instant messaging and online Skype chats.
The charges of unlawful contact with a minor, corruption of a minor, indecent exposure and open lewdness were dropped.
He still faces eight other charges, including two counts of unlawful contact with a minor, and two counts of contact with minor, as well as corruption of a minor.
