HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – The body of a bear caused drivers to slow down and stare this morning on Interstate 64 west in Henrico County.
The bear’s body was spotted along the interstate near the Gaskins Road exit.
Virginia State Police Sgt. Thomas Molnar said two drivers hit the 250-pound black bear when it ran out onto the interstate around 2:45 a.m. Friday. Henrico Animal Control removed the bear’s body around 7:20 a.m.
