HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) - A Henrico mother is facing charges of child neglect after leaving her one-year-old alone in a hot car.
Michele Georghiou was charged after someone called 911 on Sunday after spotting the child in a car in a parking lot in the 7500 block of West Broad Street.
Police say the day the incident happened it was one of the hottest days of the year. Temperatures on Sunday topped 90 degrees.
