Today the annual Greek Festival kicks-off its 36th year. May the consumption and tent socializing begin!
This means that Richmond residents will begin the stampede down Grove, Cary and Malvern Streets to access the delicious delights that range from grape leaves, gyros, moussaka, baklava and Greek wine.
The festival starts Thursday, May 31 and runs through Sunday, June 3.
HOURS:
Thursday May 31: 11:00am - 9:30pm
Friday June 1: 11:00am - 10:00pm
Saturday June 2: 11:00am - 10:00pm
Sunday June 3: 12:00pm - 7:00pm
Crowds will be flocking to the Saints Constantine and Helen's Greek Orthodox Cathedral at 30 Malvern Ave, and you can visit the event website here for more parking information.

If you’re in a hurry, the drive-thru line is open 11:00 a.m. to dusk on Thursday, Friday, Saturday; and opens from noon to dusk on Sunday, or until food sells out.
The drive-thru entrance is at Cary St. and Antrim Ave., and it exits on Malvern Ave.
A stone throw behind the music stage you'll find the gym filled with vendors selling jewelry, clothing, health & beauty products, paintings and accessories. Proceeds from the festival will benefit ACTS, ASK, Full Circle & Northfield Ministries.
Admission is free but food cost between $1 and $7.50.
