RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – There are plenty of places that accept walk-in clients like hair salons and nail salons, now women can expect the same kind of service when they need a mammogram.
The Women’s Imaging Center at St. Mary’s Hospital on Richmond’s Monument Avenue announced that it is now offering walk-in service for screening mammograms. On top of that, the center will call you with your results later that same day.
Center Director, Lori Prowant, says because of the convenience, they’ve seen an increase in women getting their mammograms.
The walk-in screening is available Monday through Friday from 7:30am – 4:30pm.
