RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Governor Bob McDonnell has elaborated on his comment Tuesday about not being vetted by the Romney campaign.
“I've told Mitt Romney I’d do whatever it is I can do to help him,” McDonnell said.
McDonnell has campaigned for Romney in at least five states, but insists he hasn't had any talks about running for vice president.
McDonnell also said that at this point, not being thoroughly checked out by Romney's campaign team, does not necessarily mean anything.
