In addition to your sunscreen, you may want to take aspirin with you to the beach or pool.

A new study shows aspirin and other commonly used painkillers not only ease aches and pains, they can also protect against skin cancer.

Researchers analyzed medical reports from Denmark and found individuals who filled more than two prescriptions for N-SAID pain relievers, including aspirin and ibuprofen, decreased their risk for developing two types of skin cancer, especially if the drugs were taken for seven years or more at a high intensity.

You should consult your doctor before taking aspirin on a regular basis.
