Dalai Lama says Chinese agents plot to kill him

Posted

His Holiness the Dalai Lama believes there is a plot to kill him.

The Tibetan Buddhist told the Sunday Telegraph that he has received intelligence from Tibetan sources that Chinese agents have trained female followers to kill him.

During the exclusive interview, the Dalai Lama told the Sunday Telegraph that, “Some Chinese agents training some Tibetans, especially women, you see, using poison – the hair poisoned, and the scarf poisoned – they were supposed to seek blessing from me, and my hand touch.”

If he were to touch these female agents during the traditional blessing, the poison could potentially kill him.

The Dalai Lama was exiled in 1959 from Tibet, following a failed uprising against the Chinese Communist Party. He sought refuge in India and currently lives with a high security guard at his palace in the Himalayan foothills.

The Sunday Telegraph reports that His Holiness has not been able to confirm the reports, but have increased security.

The leader is 76-years old.
