HARRISONBURG, Va. (WTVR) – If you know someone attending James Madison University, they’ll pay more this fall.
The board of visitors at JMU has approved a tuition increase for the 2012 2013 academic year.
The average in-state student will pay $360 more, or a little more than $8,800 a year.
The University says the increase will help pay for higher operating costs, but that the increase isn’t as steep as last year’s tuition hike due to more state funding.
