RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) Yesterday, East met West at the Greater Richmond Convention Center, for the 15th annual Asian-American Celebration.
The theme this year was celebrating Asian-American friendship.
The free event featured a variety of ethnic Asian foods, cultural exhibits, entertainment, children`s activities, and a parade.
This is the region`s premiere showcase of Asian-American culture.
"The wonderful thing about this event is that it is not just Asian-American people who are actually attending this event, “said organizer Malik Khan. “Everyone is here,” he added.
Organizers believe more than 12,000 people visited today's event.
