(CNN)- Mom isn’t the only one looking forward to Mother’s Day. Retailers are too.
According to the National Retail Federation, Americans will spend about $18.6 billion this Mother’s Day.
Among their purchases: $3.4 billion on dining out, $2.2 billion on flowers, $1.8 billion on gift cards, and $1.6 billion on clothing and accessories for mom.
Experts say don’t expect too many deep discounts on Mother’s Day items, but retailers will focus on value items like gift sets and bundles.
