(WTVR) - Nearly a dozen people are under arrest in South Florida, accused of taking part in the largest pharmaceutical cargo theft case in U.S. history.
The suspects might be connected to pharmaceutical robberies out of Chesterfield as well.
The gang responsible for the theft of nearly $80 million dollars worth of drugs from a warehouse in Connecticut in March.
The 11 people taken into custody are being processed at FBI headquarters in North Miami.
Charges include conspiracy to sell stolen goods, sales of stolen goods, concealing or storing stolen goods and conspiracy to sell and dispose stolen goods.
Sources describe the gang as highly sophisticated and responsible for stealing millions from companies in Connecticut, Virginia and New Jersey.
