If the funding is approved, new renovations on Richmond’s Landmark Theater could begin next month.
The makeover will include new elevators and concession areas, a new box office and new restrooms.
The renovations will cost about $50 million. The City of Richmond is paying for $14 million of the project. The rest of the money will come from private donations.
