PHILADELPHIA (CNN) — A man was taken into custody Thursday for having an “unknown homemade device” at the Philadelphia airport, a police spokeswoman said.
A bomb squad was headed to the scene, said Philadelphia police spokeswoman Christine O’Brien.
The man never got on a plane, as he was stopped by Transportation Security Administration agents just after 6:45 a.m., O’Brien said.
