South by Southwest, in Austin, Texas wrapped up this weekend.
Since the first festival in 1987, "South By" has been a destination for a wide variety of musical artists. The festival has expanded as a showcase and destination hot spot for tech fans as well.
For every superstar such as Bruce Springsteen who's performed at the festival, hundreds of lesser known bands have descended on Austin -- looking to be "discovered."
Royal Teeth was one of those groups this year.
And this year the Louisiana-based band succeeded in getting more visibility.
Royal Teeth's booking agent responded to a tweet from CNN Music.
And next thing you know, CNN recorded the six-piece performing one of their songs.
