(WTVR) – In the next few years it could continue to get harder to book a flight.
The Federal Aviation Administration predicts that passenger air travel will nearly double in the next 20 years.
The agency’s annual report predicts the number of passengers is expected to steadily increase.
The number of people flying commercially is estimated to grow from 732 million this year to 1 billion by 2024 and 1.2 billion by 2032
The miles those passengers will fly will grow from 815 billion to more than a trillion in 20 years.
