Movie-theater snacks are just too pricey for one Michigan man, who filed a class-action lawsuit against his local AMC theater for overcharging on snacks and soda.
Joshua Thompson of Livonia filed a lawsuit alleging the theater is gouges prices.
He says he’s upset he is not allowed to bring his own food into the theater and says he’s tired of them taking advantage of customers.
The suit seeks refunds for customers who can prove they were overcharged and a civil penalty against theater chains.
Many legal experts say they believe the case will be dropped.
