(CBS) - The youngest kids in class could be over-diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder or ADHD.
A new study in the Canadian Medical Association Journal looked at nearly 1,000,000 kids and found children were 39-percent more likely to be diagnosed with ADHD if they were born in December, compared to children born in January.
The younger kids were also 48-percent more likely to be treated with medication for ADHD.
