CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WTVR) – Chesterfield Fire Fighters remain on the scene of a house fire in the 13800 block of Salisbury Rd. Sunday morning, battling a house fire.
Crews arrived on the scene at 9:30 a.m. to find a fire in a second floor bed room. That fire spread to the attic and roof.
Fire officials say the home owner made the call after discovering the fire. Everyone made it out safe, and three cats were also rescued.
The fire remains under investigation, but as always, fire fighters say to have working smoke detectors throughout your home to alert you should a fire spark.
