RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Earlier this month I traveled to Minneapolis, Minnesota for a behind the scene look at THE LION KING.
It played at the Orpheum Theater, the original theater where it made its debut fifteen years ago and fifteen years later only a few things have changed.
The show is basically the same, technology has made it easier for lighting, sound and the scenery. THE LION KING travels with 17 tractor trailers, hundreds of costumes, masks, props, school teachers, physical therapist and more than 100 cast and crew.
You can see THE LION KING at the Landmark Theater through March 11, for tickets call 800-514-3849 or visit www.BroadwayInRichmond.com.
