RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - An Occupy the Dream demonstration took place Monday in downtown Richmond, Virginia.

Saint Paul's Baptist Church pastor Lance Watson led the demonstration at Kanawha Plaza, across the street from the Federal Reserve Bank.

"If one person is suffering, the truth is nobody is prospering," Watson said. "

In a press statement the Richmond group, which is one of 13 similar Occupy the Dream movements across the country, said it aimed to bring attention to the "gross economic injustice visited upon the 99% by a narrow financial elite."
