CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- The coronavirus pandemic has been difficult for many small business owners, particularly for locally owned restaurants.
Despite the pandemic, Bell Greek in Midlothian has been able to keep their doors open.
Owner Ibo Pinar says they've faced challenges but found ways to make sure they could still serve their customers.
"Like any other restaurant, we got affected with it, too. The pandemic affects everybody," said Pinar. "Our dine-in business dramatically dropped, but this location, traditionally, is pretty good with to-go's and take-out. It's a take-out restaurant. So, we've been able to hold up here pretty good."
Pinar described Bell Greek as Greek comfort food.
You will find classics like souvlaki, gyros, and moussaka on the menu.
Regulars list their homemade Greek lemon-chicken soup or avgolemono soup as one of their favorites.
If you can't get to their Midlothian location, they have second location in Chester.
