RICHMOND, Va. — Each morning, we take time to share details of a local business or organization that’s continuing the serve the community in our “We’re Open: Virginia” segment.

Conquest Graphics is staying busy while also giving back.

The fourth-generation printing business is using its expertise to help other businesses right now. The team launched a free printing initiative for Richmond restaurants, offering to make 500 free menus for restaurants that could use the help right now. It’s no cost for restaurants in the 804 area code, and those outside the area code just have to pay for shipping.

Since Conquest Graphics started this initiative, they’ve expanded the offer. Now, they will provide 500 free flyers, brochures or venues to any small business — not just local restaurants!

Conquest Graphics says this offer is intended to provide relief to small businesses and restaurants that suffered hardship because of the COVID-19 pandemic by providing them with free printed materials to help keep their marketing budgets low.

The team is also helping meet the surge in demand for face shields by retooling some of its equipment that would normally be cutting paper to instead cut plastic.
